The afternoon tea here is nothing short of an experience: a full selection of assorted finger sandwiches, delicate cake mezze, and freshly brewed Ethiopian Cafetiere Coffee or a smooth Flat White to accompany each bite.

For those looking to start their day with a classic, the English Breakfast offers a hearty, flavour-packed plate that fuels both body and soul. The Ham Hock Salad adds a light yet satisfying option, combining tender meat with fresh greens, while the Fresh Fruit Pavlova is a delightful, airy dessert that perfectly balances sweetness and texture. Service here is consistently praised for being warm and attentive. Staff members are known to be polite and welcoming, ensuring every visit feels personal and cared for. While accessibility is thoughtful overall, a small note is that restroom facilities are a short walk away, a consideration to keep in mind when planning your visit.

To complement your meal, The Parlour boasts a selection of refreshing cocktails, including a zesty Aperol Spritz and a summery Pink Gin and Lemonade. Non-alcoholic options such as a vibrant Virgin Mary round out the offerings, ensuring all guests can find the perfect accompaniment to their dining experience.

We arranged a meal here for 6 people, including 1 wheelchair user. The food was great and the service was also excellent. The decor was lovely and we enjoyed the experience. Toilets are a considerable way from the restaurant so it’s worth bearing this in mind.

Charming place inside and a lovely area outside. At the time of visit they were going through a kitchen staff recruitment and as such were only offering light lunches such as baked potatoes and paninis. It took 25 minutes for our food to arrive probably due to staff shortages, but that wasn’t an issue as it was nice and relaxing sitting outside overlooking the green space and water fountains. The food wasn’t cheap (£12 for a baked potato) but was enjoyable. A well presented eatery which will be more enjoyable once they are up to full staff.

I went here for a bit of brunch with my family. I had the Kedgeree which was absolutely delicious! Staff were very polite and welcoming and we sat outside watching the ducks around the water fountain. Highly recommend (especially the Kedgeree).
